Hi, I’m Abhishek.
I’m a mobile engineer based in Gurugram. For 13 years I’ve built Android and iOS apps, and the work I enjoy most is owning the mobile side of a product end to end: the architecture, the app itself and the release.
I’m comfortable owning architecture, media pipelines, release engineering and product calls at once.
HelperBook started at home. My wife was working out our helper’s salary at the end of the month, trying to remember which days she had been absent. That record shouldn’t live in anyone’s memory, so I built an app to keep it, on the phone and nowhere else.

Four things that show up in all my work

I’ve owned four greenfield Android builds end to end, most recently HelperBook, from the first commit to a public release on Google Play.
Offline-first
From a tablet app for doctors with bidirectional sync in my first job to Pulse’s auditors working without connectivity, apps that keep working offline run through my career.
Privacy by design
HelperBook keeps wage data on the phone, which keeps it outside data-fiduciary scope under DPDP, and its crash reports carry no names or amounts.
End-to-end ownership
Sync contracts with backend teams, native Android and iOS clients, release pipelines with GitHub Actions and Fastlane: I care about the whole path to the user.

A local-only Android app for Indian households to track staff attendance, advances and salary. Product, architecture, UI, Hindi localisation and store submission.

Built 100% of the Android client from concept to production release: 30+ screens, CameraX capture, Media3 playback and on-device speech transcription.

Head of Mobility / Lead Mobile Engineer, Aim North Technologies (Pulse Business Solutions)
Owned the Pulse inspection platform’s Android and iOS apps, from early prototype to 100+ B2B clients and 20,000+ field users in 10+ countries, led a team of 4–6 mobile engineers, then led the 2025 React Native rewrite.
